Adam 'firsts' .....
| 1st smile | 21st December 2003 - he smiled at Nanny as she was about to babysit whilst I went to Ipswich v Norwich. |  |
| 1st food | 14th March 2004 Baby rice - spat most of it out though. First carrot puree came a week later on Mother's day. |  |
| 1st rolled over | 27th April 2004 - I was changing him round Hayleys when she called him & he rolled over - very helpful Hayley, thanks! |  |
| 1st swim | 3rd May 2004 - me & Nanny took him swimming at Cannons which he seemed to enjoy. He came swimming a week later with Ross & I when we used his float for the first time. |  |
| 1st splash time in the bath | 13th May 2004 - he had a whale of a time splashing for the first time with Ross in the bath - made a hell of a mess too! |  |
| 1st said 'Dada' | 1st July 2004 - mastered it at lunch time & once he realised what he'd said that was it for the whole day - and pretty much the next few months solidly. |  |
| 1st crawled backwards | 17th July 2004 - this was at a service station on the way back from Devon. We stopped for lunch and then realised he had crawled backwards halfway down a small hill. |  |
| 1st crawled forwards | 23rd July 2004 - only a couple of arm movements but was on our friends Jon & Claire's wedding day so it felt very special. |  |
| 1st tooth | 29th July 2004 - 2 came through together, and only had a couple of sleepless nights so not too bad. |  |
| 1st clapping day | 31st July 2004, like with 'Dada', once he'd learnt it, that was it for the day. |  |
| 1st crawl | 12th August 2004, started very slowly, but crawled towards something he wasn't allowed - typical. |  |
| 1st toothbrush | 28th August 2004 - looks very sweet with a toothbrush in his hand, but soon tries to escape. |  |
| 1st tiny steps | 28th August 2004 - very tiny steps with me holding him. | |
| 1st hospital trip | 18th September 2004 - fell off the stairs backwards & hit his head on the radiator tap, which had no tap on it. Blood everywhere so took him to casualty where he laughed the whole time & the doctors said he was fine. |  |
| 1st tiny walk by himself | 7th November 2004 - in Devon he took 6/7 little steps towards the fridge without any help. Didn't do it for a couple of days afterwards though! |  |
| 1st haircut | 13th November 2004 - Nanny cut his hair in his highchair & he looked very grown up! |  |
